A home inspection is a thorough evaluation of the systems that work together to make a home comfortable, safe and resilient. Those systems include the structure, exterior, roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation and interior. Appliances that typically stay with the home when sold are also inspected.

A home inspection gives you a clear idea of which issues need attention and helps you prioritize them. Often these findings inform your purchase negotiation and can save you a great deal of expense and unpleasant surprises down the road.

Scheduling, contract, invoicing and report viewing are all easily handled through this website, and I’ll coordinate as needed with you and your agent. Once scheduled, we’ll have a short call to learn about your needs, expectations and concerns. After the inspection we’ll review the results together (with your agent, if preferred), and you’ll have prioritized information about the home. You can share results with anyone you choose, and results will not be shared with anyone else.

Yes, you’re welcome on site. The inspection is a carefully designed process that does not require you to be present, but it’s a good idea to join us at the end for an on-site report review. Your finalized report is typically available on the website by the following day.
